Job summary

Rack Room Shoes in Ocean City, MD seeks a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and meet store goals. You will assist shoppers, promote rewards programs, and process transactions accurately at the POS according to policy.

You will maintain merchandise presentation, stay current on promotions, help with inventories, and support shipping/receiving as needed. Retail or footwear experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and math skills.
• Knowledge of store policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience through service standards.
• Follow policies and process all sales and POS transactions.
• Promote rewards program and other initiatives.
• Maintain stock presentation and store cleanliness.
• Maintain product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Assist in inventories, shipping/receiving and merchandise placement.
• Ensure cashier transactions are processed according to policy; check shoe mates.
