Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, guide product selections and support store operations. You will engage customers, demonstrate merchandise and help maintain an inviting selling floor.

You will perform POS transactions, process returns and exchanges, and support loyalty program enrollment while contributing to a clean, organized, and safe store environment. This is a role designed for dependable individuals with a sales mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 or fewer years of experience in retail or related roles.
• Skill operating inventory and POS systems and related retail software.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to consumer questions and issues regarding product features, benefits and availability.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness and safety; retrieve merchandise as needed.
• Perform all cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty program) accurately.
• Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing and processing product flow.
