Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the primary contact for customers and to assist in stocking shelves and maintaining plan-o-grams. You will unload trucks, build displays, stock merchandise, and help customers locate items while ensuring a clean, welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open cartons and stock shelves; move merchandise to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers.
• Greet customers and help locate merchandise while maintaining store appearance.
• Operate cash register; total and bag purchases; handle change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep front end clean and set up sidewalk displays when needed.
