Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the primary contact for customers, stock merchandise, and support plan-o-grams and store programs. You will operate the register, assist customers, and help maintain clean and organized sales floors.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock merchandise in stock room or on the sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Clean store areas and restrooms; run checkout operations.
