Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to serve customers, set and maintain plan-o-grams, and stock merchandise to maximize profitability and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, building displays, operating the register, assisting customers, and keeping the store clean in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma preferred; strong communication and cash-handling skills are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, bag merchandise and process payments.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store areas and maintain sidewalk displays as needed.
