Job summary

Dollar General is hiring a Sales Associate to be a customer-facing point of contact in our store. You will help customers locate and purchase merchandise, operate the cash register, and ensure shelves are stocked and displays are inviting.

Daily tasks include greeting customers, processing payments, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment while following company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and policies.
• Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides.
• Basic cash handling knowledge and math skills.
• Experience operating a cash register and scanner is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise.
• Operate cash register, scan items, process payments, and bag merchandise.
• Stock, restock, and rotate merchandise; build displays.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with other tasks as directed.
