Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Associate to serve as the primary customer contact, help with planograms, stock merchandise, and support profitability and teamwork while protecting assets.

You will unload trucks, set up displays, stock shelves, operate the register, assist with ordering, and keep the store clean. A high school diploma is preferred; strong communication and math skills help deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise.
• Collect payment and provide change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean front end and assist with sidewalk displays.
