Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Associate to be the primary point of contact for customers, help with plan‑o‑grams, and maintain stock on the sales floor. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, bag purchases, and protect company assets in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes unloading trucks, stocking shelves, building displays, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; relocation assistance is not available.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock, rotate and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Greet customers and operate checkout stewarding transactions.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
