Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the first point of contact for customers, stock merchandise, and maintain plan-o-grams. You will unload trucks, build displays, and ensure shelves are neat and inviting.

You'll handle the POS, assist customers, and help protect company assets while following policies. A high school diploma is preferred; experience in retail is a plus, and you will join a team focused on speed, accuracy, and service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Greet customers.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean front end of store and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
