Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in retail or hardware/lumber is preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, greet, and assist to create a positive shopping experience.
• Help customers find products and offer solutions for their projects.
• Stock and organize merchandise to keep a clean store.
• Answer phone calls promptly and address inquiries.
• Assist with cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records.
• Upsell related items and promote the Do It Best reward program.
• Process checkouts accurately with proper cash handling.
• Maintain knowledge of products across departments.
• Resolve customer issues with management support.
• Keep work environment safe and organized.
• Complete all assigned training and adapt to store policies.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
