Job summary

The Children’s Place in Greendale, Wisconsin is hiring a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model outstanding customer service, build product knowledge, and use effective selling techniques.

Maintain merchandise presentation, replenish stock, and keep a clean store and backroom while delivering fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and promoting the PLACE Card. Previous retail experience is preferred and you must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency, prioritizing assisting customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service level.
• Explain value and promotions; offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to improve conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly cashwrap service and educate on PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels; ensure size and style representation.
• Follow display and signage standards.
• Keep stockroom neat and organized; maintain a customer-ready environment and safety.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standard.
• Protect assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
• Inform Store Leadership of maintenance needs for a clean, safe environment.
• Contribute toward store goals.
• Be flexible by processing stock when necessary.
