Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Sales Associate to serve as a primary contact for customers, assist in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and maintain store presentation. You will help maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

The role includes greeting customers, processing transactions, stocking, cleaning, and supporting the Store Manager with daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or cashier experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandising guides.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize purchases, collect payment and give change.
• Unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build displays.
• Clean the store, manage trash, dust and mop floors, and assist with sidewalk displays.
