Job summary

Daiso USA is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, assist store sales, and maintain attractive merchandise presentation. You will greet customers, answer questions, identify needs, and recommend solutions to ensure a positive shopping experience.

When needed, you will support opening/closing tasks, coordinate shift activities with the team, and assist with accurate cash handling and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Able to handle cash and operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and direct them in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answer questions about products, promotions and discounts.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products or solutions.
• Upsell with appropriate product recommendations and stay aware of new offers.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly or escalate to leadership when needed.
• Organize merchandise on shelves and restock as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor and checkout area.
• Process transactions accurately and assist with administrative tasks as directed.
