Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is hiring to join our store team as a front-line associate. You will greet customers, locate merchandise, operate checkout, and help keep displays fresh and stocked throughout the shift.

You will follow company policies, maintain safety standards, and assist with receiving shipments, stocking, and store cleanliness to support sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.

• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in the store.
• Receive, open, and unpack shipments; stock shelves and backroom.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays; face products on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate the cash register and scanners to total purchases and process payments.
• Restock recovered merchandise and maintain store cleanliness.
