Pawn 1st in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate. You will greet customers, assist with sales, loans, and product inquiries, and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere.

Earn hourly pay plus commission on top, with up to 8% commission based on performance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, vacation/sick time, 401(k) auto-enrollment after 6 months, and tuition reimbursement. Earned wage access is available after day 2.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Comfortable handling a variety of merchandise.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Explain pawn and short-term loan terms, complete paperwork, ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately per guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
