Job summary

Cash America Pawn is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Houston, TX. Earn $10.00–$14.00 per hour plus unlimited commission. The role focuses on customer service, sales, loans, and product inquiries, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing sales and loan activity, maintaining the sales floor, handling cash, and supporting store operations. Training and compliance with policies are required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Comfort with a variety of merchandise; firearms in FFL locations (certification provided).
• Strong customer service and team-oriented mindset.
• Basic math and computer skills; retail checkout experience a plus.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Explain terms, complete paperwork, and ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately per guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to aid decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
