Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Retail Associate to act as the point of contact for customers, assist in setting plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and help maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, building displays, operating the cash register, assisting customers, and maintaining store cleanliness while following company policies.

Qualificações

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock and rotate on shelves.
• Build displays and restock merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating products and operate the cash register.
• Collect payment, make change, bag groceries.
• Maintain store cleanliness and comply with policies.
• Assist with ordering using handheld scanners.
• Greet customers and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
