Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to assist customers from greeting to checkout. You will welcome customers, guide them to merchandise, provide product information, and help with recommendations to boost confidence and sales.

You will handle payments, keep the store tidy, and help maintain inventory accuracy, contributing to a positive shopping experience for guests in our Michigan store.

Overview

As a Retail SalesAssociate, you are responsible forserving the customers throughout their visit to the store from greeting to checkout.

Responsibilities

A Retail Sales Associate’s typical job functions include the following:

• Welcome customers by greeting them and offering them assistance
• Assist customers by escorting them directly to racks and counters, and/or suggesting items
• Advise customers by providing accurate information on products
• Help customer make selections by building customer confidence through offering suggestions and opinions
• Accept payments by totaling purchases and processing checks, cash, or credit cards
• Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest
• Setup and display products and merchandise through the store
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the store and merchandise
• Help maintain accurate inventory records
