Job summary

Tacoma Bike & Ski is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate – Bikes to join our team on the sales floor. You’ll help customers choose bikes, gear, apparel, and accessories while maintaining an inviting store environment and accurate displays.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on bikes, cycling gear, apparel, and accessories.
• Facilitate retail transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain organized and fully stocked sales floor displays.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory organization.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
• Support opening and closing procedures.
• Collaborate with shop managers and team members on daily priorities.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and efficient retail environment.

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated cycling enthusiast and outdoor lover to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate – Bikes.

You enjoy talking bikes, gear, trails, commuting, mountain rides, road cycling, or simply helping people discover the right equipment for their adventures. You’re excited to engage with customers, learn new products, and contribute to a welcoming and community-focused shop environment.

Previous bike industry experience is helpful, but not required. We’re happy to train the right person who is eager to learn and passionate about cycling and the outdoors.

Our goal is to build a team that creates loyal, long-term relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and expert guidance.

About the Role
