Cash America Pawn in Danville, VA is hiring a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service, process sales and pawn transactions, and help customers with loans and merchandise questions. You will help maintain displays, handle cash securely, and support opening/closing duties.

Earn $13.00–$17.00 per hour plus unlimited commission; commission ranges 2–8% based on performance. Benefits include Earned Wage Access, employee discounts, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

$13.00 - $17.00 per hour + Unlimited Commission

What You'll Do

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries
• Support customers with pawn and short‑term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer‑focused experience
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Complete required training and follow company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas
