Job summary

Major Bloom is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to guide customers through cannabis offerings, support daily operations, and create an exceptional in-store experience. This role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced settings, enjoys people, and is passionate about cannabis culture and wellness.

You will welcome customers, share product knowledge, process transactions, and help maintain a well-stocked, organized floor while upholding all regulations.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older.
• Ability to pass CORI background checks.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
• Share expert product knowledge and thoughtful recommendations tailored to customer needs.
• Process transactions accurately using our POS system, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products that enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the sales floor well-stocked and organized.
• Support inventory management through regular checks, organization, and clean-up.
• Handle cash and electronic payments with precision, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as scheduled.
• Complete delivery orders.
• Serve as a greeter in the vestibule, welcome guests and verifying identification.
• Strictly adhere to all cannabis compliance regulations and company protocols.
• Actively participate in training sessions, team meetings, and product demonstrations.
• Help onboard and mentor new team members.
• Communicate openly and effectively with team leaders and supervisors.

• Cannabis retail experience (helpful but not required)

• Comfort with digital tools like POS and inventory systems


• Quick learner with a customer-first mindset
