Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Waukegan, IL is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service, handle POS transactions, and keep the store organized and welcoming. This part-time role offers evenings and up to 16 hours per week, with training to proficiently use the POS system.

You will help present merchandise and support daily sales goals. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma (or actively pursuing) and strong English communication.

About the Role

Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as a Retail Sales Associate. We're seeking friendly and enthusiastic individuals who will help create a welcoming shopping experience for our diverse community of customers and donors. This role combines customer service, retail operations, and mission-driven work to support The Salvation Army's community programs. You'll be an essential part of our team, transforming donations into resources that directly support our mission of serving those in need in our community.

Pay Rate : $15.00/hr

Status: Part Time, up to 16 hours per week

Hours: Evening shift

Key Responsibilities
