EZCORP is hiring a Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service Team Member in Summit, Illinois. Start as a Trainee in a 5-week paid training program, with pay raises and promotions through the Pawnbroker Certification Program.

Earn additional raises through progression and promotions within a fast-paced, supportive environment. The role emphasizes daily customer interaction, pawn item sales, loans, and excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work well independently and as member of a team.
• Ability to multitask.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test (performed after a conditional offer).
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus.

Pay range is based on experience from $15.00/hr to $18.00/hr

Follow the Career Path and apply for an Assistant Manager position which includes a 6-month training program to build the foundation to run your own store.

What you can expect as a Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker)

This role will give you the opportunity to interact with customers daily, helping with sales and enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more. As part of our customer service team in our stores, you will provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that continues to set us apart from the competition.
