Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in St. Louis is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, process sales, and keep displays neat and welcoming for shoppers and donors.

This part-time role offers evenings and weekend hours, on-the-job training, and opportunities to build retail and customer service skills while supporting community programs.

You will work with a team to meet daily sales goals, maintain store standards, and provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide friendly customer service.

• Basic math and computer skills.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise.

• Experience with POS system preferred.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Type:Part-time
Schedule: 19-25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a friendly, dependable Retail Sales Associate to provide great customer service, keep the store organized, and help create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors.

What You’ll Do
