Job summary

Work World is hiring a Retail Sales Associate in San Jose, CA to join our fast-paced store team. You will demonstrate product knowledge, greet customers, process in-person transactions, and help maintain inventory.

We offer part-time hours, sick time, and generous employee discounts. Bi-lingual abilities are a plus, and a HS diploma is required. Night and weekend availability is preferred to support store needs.

• 1-2 years of retail customer service preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• Bi-Lingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers.
• Assist customers with request in store and over the phone.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and polite manner.
• Always maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
• Complete customers transactions at the cash register including taking payments, and issuing receipts.
• Tag prices and merchandise.
• Contribute to team's daily sales goal.

What You'll be Doing:

• Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers

What You'll Need:

• Excellent verbal communication
• Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
• Basic math skills
• High attention to detail
• Demonstrated sales skills and experience
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance
• Bi-Lingual a plus
