Job summary

Batteries Plus in Richmond, VA is seeking a Store Associate to be the friendly face of our brand. You will help customers find the right solutions, provide product knowledge, and support daily store operations to ensure positive experiences.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, assisting with basic technical services like battery testing, stocking displays, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. A team-player with strong communication excels in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Team player with professionalism, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Comfortable with basic math and cash register operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform regular standing, walking, and hands-on tasks.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
