Job summary

Pet Pros is looking for team members to join our friendly neighborhood store. You will engage guests, make product recommendations for pets, and help keep the shop clean and organized. This role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

We value a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team orientation. Weekend availability and participation in meetings are expected as part of a growing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests in thoughtful conversations and recommend products to meet pet needs.

• Maintain store cleanliness

• Participate in merchandising, work on creative display of products
• Attend store and company meetings (some meetings may be before or after hours)
• Are comfortable with computers, learning new systems, performing transactions for guests at the point of sale accurately and completely
• Have accurate cash handling skills, competent with basic math

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to lift up to 45 pounds, can bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb a ladder
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Highly accountable and has integrity
• Has the flexibility to work within our normal store operating hours, including weekends
