Retail Sales Associate - Bay Ridge Location

This position is located at our Bay Ridge store: 576-80 86th Street.

The Retail Sales Associate role includes, but is not limited to:

1. Providing excellent customer service in person and over the phone before, during, and after the sale.
2. Assisting customers in selecting merchandise by explaining features and benefits.
3. Gaining product and sales knowledge through manufacturer and in-house training programs.
4. Selling extended service protection and installations on selected merchandise.
5. Entering sales into our computerized Point of Sale system, including details such as customer information, product, pricing, delivery, and payment. Following up on open orders until completion.
6. Promoting and processing applications for our P.C. Richard and Son credit card using a computerized system.

Sales Associates are compensated with a $1,200 bi-weekly draw against commission. Average annual earnings range from $48,000 to $80,000, with top earners exceeding $100,000.

Note: All new sales counselors must attend a two-week paid in-house training program to learn our culture, selling techniques, product knowledge, and computer systems before placement in a showroom.
