Job summary

Inter IKEA Systems B.V. in Hicksville seeks a Sales Associate to assist customers, advise on home furnishings, and maintain a tidy, well-stocked sales floor. You will act as an expert and guide shoppers to top products to inspire confidence and purchases.

Qualifications

What you'll be doing day to day

• - Assisting customers and providing advice on the best solutions for their homes.


• - Keeping your sales floor tidy, priced and fully stocked to give customers a positive shopping experience.


• - Acting as an expert and consultant on a broad range of home furnishing solutions, products and services to inspire and inform customers.


• - Guiding customers toward top-selling and prioritized products.


• - Assembling display products for the introduction of new products.

HOURS – 34-40 hours per week. Must have complete open working availability throughout the week Mondays to Sundays between the hours of 9:00AM to 10:30PM.

The hourly pay rate range for this role is $19.91 - $28.12

Qualifications

• Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs.


• Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting & moving items up to 50 lbs.


• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 19.91 USD to 28.12 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
