Job summary

Ollie in Grand Rapids is seeking a Front End Specialist to assist customers and maintain the store front, focusing on customer service and store presentation. You will greet customers, operate the register, know current promotions, support donation programs, and assist with receiving, pricing, and merchandising to keep the store inviting.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and a positive, team-oriented attitude to serve

• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Internal Job Title: Front End Specialist 1

Position Overview:

The Front End Specialist assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. They are responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front end of store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
