Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, operate registers, and help maintain a welcoming store environment. This full-time, hourly role supports both sales floor duties and donation processing.

The successful candidate will have strong communication, dependability, and basic math skills, with preferred retail experience and cash-handling familiarity. Standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience handling cash, and utilizing cash registers, credit card machines, and POS systems preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Ability to stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull and move items; lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Comfortable with standing for long periods and the possibility of temperature fluctuations.

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team and help create a welcoming shopping and donation experience for our community. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and adaptable, with strong communication skills and a willingness to assist wherever needed. This role includes helping customers on the sales floor, operating registers and processing transactions, and being cross‑trained to support backdoor donation operations to ensure an efficient and positive experience for customers and donors alike.
