Retail Sales Associate

Join Floor & Decor as a Retail Sales Associate. Full‑time and part‑time positions available. Be among the first 25 applicants.

Purpose

Sales Associates provide friendly, accurate service and support in helping customers find products, maintain a clean and well‑stocked sales department, and contribute to a fast‑paced, safe environment.

Pay Range

$19.39 – $23.80 per hour.

Essential Job Functions

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products, and excite them about their purchase.
• Provide above‑and‑beyond customer service and exceed expectations.
• Maintain the in‑stock condition of assigned areas; keep it clean, shoppable, and safe.
• Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using a POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges per guidelines.
• Follow cash, check, and credit card acceptance procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs; stock, tag, and display merchandise.
• Act consistently with the company’s core values.
• Understand and comply with safety processes.
• Answer the telephone per company guidelines.
• Assist in other store areas as needed.
• Work in a fast‑pace environment with accuracy.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certification.
• Drug‑tested certification to use heavy equipment (where permitted).

Working Conditions

• Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles; noise typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

• Occasional lifting of 30–60 lbs or frequent lifting of 20–30 lbs; constant light lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling.

Store Hours

• Monday‑Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pickup Hours

• Monday‑Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
