Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Decatur, IL is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver friendly customer service, keep the store organized, and create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors. You will greet customers, operate the register, restock merchandise, and work with the team to meet daily sales and production goals.

Training is provided, with evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• High school diploma or currently pursuing

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service

• Help open, close, and balance the register as assigned
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat and easy to shop
• Help sort, prepare, and move merchandise to the sales floor

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Type:Part-time
Schedule:19 to 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
