Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Decatur, IL is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate to help turn donations into community funding. You will provide great customer service, keep the store organized, and create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors.

This part-time role offers 19 to 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Paid training on register, ongoing coaching, and a benefits package are available to support your growth in retail and customer

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.

• Sort, prepare, and move merchandise to the sales floor.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized.

• Ability to provide friendly customer service

• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day

• Previous retail, cashier, customer service, or thrift store experience
• Experience using a point of sale system
