Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate to help create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors. You will greet customers, operate the register, restock merchandise, and keep displays neat while supporting daily sales goals.

This part-time role offers paid training, flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, and benefits such as a 403(b) plan and PTO. Join a mission-driven team serving the local community.

Responsibilities

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a friendly, dependable Retail Sales Associate to provide great customer service, keep the storeorganized, and help create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Operate the register and process sales transactions accurately
• Help open, close, and balance the register as assigned
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat and easy to shop
• Help sort, prepare, and move merchandise to the sales floor
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized
• Work with team members to support daily sales and production goals
