Job summary

AbleLight, a non-profit organization based in Crystal Lake, IL, is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide fast, friendly service to customers and donors. The role focuses on creating a welcoming, clean, and safe environment where donors feel appreciated and supported.

Responsibilities include operating the register, assisting donors with donations, stocking shelves, and helping raise funds through on-site events and round-up donations at the register.

Qualifications

• Must be 14 years or older.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Stand on your feet for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Answer and respond to telephone customers in professional manner.
• Assist donors with their donations: Transfer merchandise from donor vehicle to building and offers tax receipts to every donor. Keeps inside and outside of donation center organized and clean.
• Assist in stocking sales floor, stock rotation, displays and organization of merchandise.
• Actively participate and support raising funds for the AbleLight charity through round ups at the register and other events initiated by AbleLight.

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr
