Job summary

EZPAWN Illinois, Inc. in Chicago is seeking a Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service Pawnbroker to join our team. You will greet customers, process sales and loans, and help customers with pawn items in a fast-paced store.

Starting as a Trainee in a 5-week paid program with raises and potential promotion, you can progress to Pawnbroker and Lead Pawnbroker. We offer paid training, uncapped bonus potential, health insurance options and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test (after conditional offer).

What you can expect

This role will give you the opportunity to interact with customers daily, helping with sales and enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more. As part of our customer service team in our stores, you will provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that continues to set us apart from the competition.
