Five StarBreaktime Solutions is seeking a Retail Route Merchandiser to stock vending machines and micro-markets across client locations in Ocean Springs, MS.

You will build customer relationships, ensure products are fresh, maintain shelves, and drive safely while delivering snacks, drinks, and fresh food. This role requires independence, reliability, and a proactive approach to service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical route tasks.
• Must be 21+ to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to store layouts and POGs; roll-out promotions and report feedback.
• Maintain inventory levels across shelves, coolers, and display areas.
• Restock items including drinks, snacks, sandwiches, and perishables; monitor shelf life.
• Load/unload products safely; drive company vehicle to deliver merchandise.
• Record transactions and follow cash-handling protocols; report anomalies.
• Greet clients professionally and suggest products to improve route efficiency.
• Complete full inventory counts as designated by protocol.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandise products according to store layouts and POGs. Roll-out promotions. Gather and report customer feedback. Maintain established inventory levels for all products sold, to include , but not limited to soft drinks, pre-packaged food, sandwiches, salads, soups, wraps, fruits, vegetables, candy, pastry, and snack items. Restock shelves, coolers, and coffee. Follow inventory-tracking and product-rotation protocols. Collect and record out-of-date, rejected,or unsold merchandise. Monitorstheshelf life of products to minimize spoilage losses.

Review inventory requirements toidentifywhat products are needed for each point of sale. Works closely with the warehouse to ensure all products are ready for delivery. Load and unload productsin accordance withproper safety protocols to prevent injury. Drivethecompany vehicle to deliver merchandise. Maintain open lines of communication with managementregardingaccount product changes andrecommendscheduling changes.

Collect money from kiosks. Follow cash-handling and loss-prevention protocols to ensure personal and property safety. Record transactions onappropriate formsand/or handheld device . Monitor and report any activity that seems out of the norm or raises specific concern about potential misconduct.

Ensure proper handling and refrigeration of all perishable items during transit and while stocking products. Ensure coolersmaintainappropriate temperaturesfor product storage. Perform routine cleaning,including, but not limited to, coffee machines, microwaves, coolers, racks, shelves, tables, countertops, floors, and windows, ateach point of sale.

Greet clients and customers in a friendly and professional manner. Communicate effectively with customers to address questions or concerns. Provideproduct and solution suggestionsas needed. Provide Feedback and suggestions to improve route efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Full inventory counts must be completedand submittedasdesignatedby company protocol.

Inspect food quality & appearance; report stale products, review "pick" sheets, conduct finalwalk-through.

Required Qualifications
