Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and repair refrigeration systems across its facilities. You will use a range of tools to complete preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to emergencies, and document repairs in the work order system.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance, EPA certification for refrigerants, and a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use work order system to manage repair Work Orders and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.
