Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Dallas, Inc. is seeking a Recover Clerk in Denton, TX to greet customers, assist with merchandise, and support loss prevention while merchandising hard goods, accessories, and clothing racks.

The role requires attention to stock handling, strong customer service, and an ability to maintain store appearance. Previous retail experience is preferred; expect a full-time schedule and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to adhere to the organization’s Core Principles.
• Knowledge of textile articles related to quality and garment classification (gowns, shirts, pants, etc.).
• Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service and assist customers with the selection of merchandise.
• Examine the sales floor to ensure merchandise is well‑stocked, well‑maintained, and properly sized.
• Assist in maintaining the store appearance.
• Keep the sales floor area clean and safe and other store areas as directed.
• Maintain a well‑groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge.
