Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our Rincon, GA location. You’ll support and repair Walmart Refrigeration HVAC equipment across stores using commercial HVAC/R skills and various tools.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, safety compliance, and responsiveness to emergencies, with opportunities for growth, training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
Large Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
18+, HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
Use work orders to document repair activities and communicate with stores.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect facilities and diagnose issues with HVAC/R systems.
Complete safety trainings and follow Walmart safety policies.
Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights when required.
