MPI is seeking an experienced Retail/QSR Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation construction projects across the Twin Cities, managing field operations, schedules, quality, and safety in fast-paced retail environments.

The role requires 5+ years as a Superintendent with a GC, delivering tenant improvements or rollout programs, plus strong leadership to coordinate multiple trades toward timely store openings. Competitive pay and benefits accompany advancement opportunities.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor.
• Experience delivering tenant improvements, retail build-outs, or rollout programs.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple trades in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Experience working on store openings turnover deadlines is highly valued.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to manage teams and client interactions.
• Working knowledge of construction systems, materials, and field operations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily field operations to keep projects on schedule and aligned with retail openings.
• Review drawings, specs, and subcontractor scopes for accurate execution.
• Develop and manage site logistics, sequencing, and short-term schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors ensuring quality and brand standards.
• Maintain detailed daily reports, weekly schedules, and progress tracking.
• Drive project schedules in fast-paced environments, including night work when required.
• Work closely with Project Managers, clients, and store representatives for alignment.
• Ensure safety standards, site protocols, and proper job site organization.
• Proactively identify and resolve field issues to prevent delays.
