Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Responsibility for the profitable development of the retail property portfolio.
Execute strategy with a focus on the management of risk while driving business growth and achieving profit objectives.
Maximizing business value through portfolio optimization, operational efficiency, and risk selection.
Help creating a work environment that fosters teamwork, innovation, and cooperation.
Finding ways to leverage technology within the Underwriting process to improve efficiency.
Qualifications :
Accountability for the underwriting of an assigned book of business and accounts within the retail property line of business in the region
Support the successful execution of the retail property plan;adjusting strategies and actions to meet the needs of a changing marketplace;effectively preserve and enhance profitability through product development and enhancement; pricing discipline, competitive analysis and the development of business-enhancing performance metrics and controls.
Executing underwriting strategy and foster continuous improvement of guidelines and processes.
Contribute to the delivery of all key metrics.
Business development and execution of yearly business and budget planning.
Provide insurance solutions & broader risk management support to clients most complex risks and challenges.
Review insurance submissions and seek to provide terms.

For NY Only:The base salary range for this position is $75,000- $107,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
