Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Responsibility for the profitable development of the retail property portfolio.

• Execute strategy with a focus on the management of risk while driving business growth and achieving profit objectives.

• Maximizing business value through portfolio optimization, operational efficiency, and risk selection.

• Help creating a work environment that fosters teamwork, innovation, and cooperation.

• Finding ways to leverage technology within the Underwriting process to improve efficiency.

Qualifications :

• Accountability for the underwriting of an assigned book of business and accounts within the retail property line of business in the region

• Support the successful execution of the retail property plan;adjusting strategies and actions to meet the needs of a changing marketplace;effectively preserve and enhance profitability through product development and enhancement; pricing discipline, competitive analysis and the development of business-enhancing performance metrics and controls.

• Executing underwriting strategy and foster continuous improvement of guidelines and processes.

• Contribute to the delivery of all key metrics.

• Business development and execution of yearly business and budget planning.

• Provide insurance solutions & broader risk management support to clients most complex risks and challenges.

• Review insurance submissions and seek to provide terms.

For NY Only:The base salary range for this position is $75,000- $107,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
