Job summary

Houchens-Food-Group-Inc in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an energetic individual to assist the merchandising team in executing merchandising plans across grocery/DSD/convenience formats. You will take charge on site, provide clear direction, and ensure category flows align with store operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a reset schedule to be published weekly with the Retail Project Manager.
• Provide feedback to Project Manager and space planning on shelving initiatives to improve operations efficiency and customer experience.
• Personally manage a team on site to ensure deadlines and expectations are met.
• Ensure fixtures at store level are installed to expectations.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure DSD Vendors are set up and arrive at new store locations as needed.
• Ensure resets and new store locations are set to expectations and deadlines.
• Receive feedback from operations teams and create action plans to resolve concerns/opportunities.
• Handle additional projects/duties as assigned.

Objective

The position needs a take charge individual who can maintain individuals and give accurate and clear direction. The position needs to have a grocery understanding for product and category flows within a store location.
