Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a Project Manager to lead store and club remodels, new stores, and special projects nationwide, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and high quality. You will partner with store leads, supervise hourly teams, and communicate plans to stakeholders.

The role requires night shifts, extensive travel, and leadership of cross-functional teams. Masters degree preferred; PM certification valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field with 1 year of PM, space, store design, operations, data analysis, or 3 years in those areas
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design
• Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams
• Primarily working overnights; 10–12 hour night shifts
• Frequent travel up to 1000 miles from home, 80% away
• Reliable transportation
• Masters degree preferred
• 1 year experience leading cross-functional teams preferred
• PM Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Own execution of store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members
• Handle escalations and collaborate with store leadership
• Travel to projects across the US and support projects in surrounding states or farther
• Communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders
• Understand project plans and minimize impact on store operations
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates
• Hire and train, mentor, assign duties, provide recognition, and identify career paths
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, mission, values, ethics, and integrity standards
• Build stakeholder relationships and partnerships
• Identify business needs and implement necessary processes and practices
• Monitor progress and results, recognize improvement opportunities, and adapt to competing demands and organizational changes

• Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design
• Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams
• Primarily working overnights; night shifts average 10 to 12 hours
• Frequent travel up to 1000 miles from home, being away from home 80% of the time or 17–21 days at a time
• Reliable transportation
• Successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments
• Master's degree in Business or related field (preferred)
• 1 year's experience leading cross-functional teams (preferred)
• Project Management - Management Professional Certification (preferred)
