Job summary

Krispy Kreme is seeking an Assistant Manager in Columbia, SC, to partner with the General Manager and deliver a WOW customer experience. You’ll support shop operations, coach staff, manage onboarding and resolve disputes, while ensuring product knowledge and promotional accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of management, 5 years in food service/retail, and a strong commitment to inclusive culture. Travel is minimal, and 18+ with US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in food service or retail.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or over.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and build a team focused on customer service and teamwork.
• Assist General Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, onboarding, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain knowledge of products and promotions.
• Support in-shop accounting: cash handling, reporting, revenue deposits, inventory control.
• Ensure equipment and resources are operational (production, POS, drive-thru).
• Maintain shop sanitation and cleanliness.
• Provide exceptional customer service by embracing and celebrating individuality.
