Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado seeks an Associate I, Retail Production to process and sort donated items, determine what goes to the sales floor, and price according to quality standards. You will ensure backroom and floor are stocked and presentable and may assist customers with service needs.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to test items, and willingness to work across departments as needed. Training is provided and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic technologies to follow company standards.
• Ability to judge quality and value of products and pricing.
• Must communicate effectively with customers, managers, staff and peers.
• Must be able to use a dolly and pallet jack as required.
• Must work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed productivity standards and KPI targets.
• Sort donated items by type (books, textiles, etc.).
• Hang, size, price, tag, and prepare items for sale.
• Inspect and quick test battery-operated items for good working condition.
• Price according to quality/brand guidelines and research when needed.
• Keep production and sales floors organized, stocked, and merchandised.
