Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC is seeking a skilled software engineer to support and enhance a retail POS platform. You will develop front-end features with React.js, build robust REST APIs with Node.js, and manage PostgreSQL data modeling and queries to optimize performance.

You’ll troubleshoot production issues, write unit and regression tests, participate in CI/CD on AWS, and collaborate with the Product Owner on backlog prioritization.

Qualifications

• Proficient in React.js and Node.js development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL data modeling and query optimization.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and AWS deployment.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance a retail POS platform, including feature development, defect fixes, and knowledge transfer.
• Develop and maintain front-end applications using React.js and Node.js.
• Build and enhance REST APIs and implement database changes using PostgreSQL.
• Perform data modeling and query optimization to ensure database performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement defect fixes.
• Write and maintain unit tests and regression tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and releases on AWS.
• Use Git for version control and follow Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner on backlog prioritization and release planning.
• Provide production support and contribute to a smooth onboarding and knowledge-transfer process.
