Zusammenfassung

Santé, in NYC, is building the AI operating system for local retailers. We ship daily and work in person in NYC. We are seeking a Full Stack Platform Engineer to own features from product decisions through production, improving checkout reliability and tracing latency to PostgreSQL.

You will design end-to-end full-stack features using TypeScript, React, Next.js, tRPC, Prisma, and PostgreSQL, mentor teammates, and guide AI coding agents to produce correct merchant-facing outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Experience owning substantial full-stack products in production.
• Strong frontend fundamentals: interaction, state, accessibility, performance.
• Backend design with PostgreSQL: data modeling, transactions, indexes.
• Distributed systems understanding: concurrency, idempotency, retries.
• Diagnosing production problems with logs, traces, metrics, and fixes.
• Product judgment to turn merchant problems into focused solutions.
• Autonomy to take open-ended problems from first principles to a working product.

Aufgaben

• Design and ship full-stack features from intuitive React interfaces to reliable APIs.
• Own projects from problem definition through testing, launch, and iteration.
• Strengthen checkout and payments with concurrent writes and retries.
• Build shared components, internal tools, and development workflows.
• Operate what you ship: trace slow interactions to PostgreSQL and improve observability.
• Direct AI coding agents and validate their output before merchants see it.
• Raise engineering standards through thoughtful design reviews and mentoring.
