Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation is seeking engineers to support and enhance a retail POS platform, developing front-end apps with React.js and Node.js while building robust REST APIs backed by PostgreSQL. You will model data and optimize queries to keep performance high, diagnose production issues, and contribute to a fast, reliable release cycle in an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with the Product Owner on backlog prioritization, maintain unit and regression tests, and help transfer

Qualifications

• Proficient with React.js and Node.js for frontend/backend development.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and version control.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance a retail POS platform including feature development and fixes.
• Develop and maintain front-end applications using React.js and Node.js.
• Build and optimize REST APIs and manage PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
• Perform data modeling and query optimization for performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement defect fixes.
• Write and maintain unit tests and regression tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and releases on AWS.
• Use Git for version control and participate in Agile/Scrum processes.
• Collaborate with Product Owner on backlog prioritization and releases.
• Provide production support and assist in onboarding and knowledge transfer.
